L2TP Troubleshooting Practice Labs

This section provides some troubleshooting labs to help you to consolidate troubleshooting skills that you have learned in this chapter.

The troubleshooting labs described are based upon the network topology shown in Figure 4-39.

The goal of each lab is to restore connectivity from a remote access client (joebloggs@mjlnet.com) to Skydance_LNS. Base configurations for the labs can be found on the Cisco Press Web site (www.ciscopress.com/1587051044). Detailed instructions for loading these base configurations onto your lab routers can be found in Appendix B.

In this scenario, remote client joebloggs@mjlnet.com reports that he is able to dial into CalCity_LAC, but that the connection is quickly dropped.
